Saturday Elementary School Enrichment
Our mission at Scholar City is to help elementary school students build confidence in their academic abilities. We conduct online small group (1 tutor to 4 students) individualized learning Saturday sessions.
Run by NYC parents, we are the only program focused solely on NYC students who are struggling to achieve grade level standards.
We aim to keep the cost to families affordable - the majority of our programs are $125 per month per student. We are working on securing funding for scholarships.

Our Principles
We believe in empowering students with the study skills and learning resources they need to achieve long term academic success. Our talented and professional team provides online tutoring services. We are the only program focused solely on New York City public school students who are struggling to achieve grade level standards. All of our tutors have a minimum of 1000 hours of experience in education. Our system has helped many students catch up to grade standards and develop a passion for learning that leads to surpassing grade standards. Our professional tutors offer the best academic support, building confidence and boosting grades.

New York City Curriculum and New York State Academic Standards
We take a comprehensive and collaborative approach in creating a plan and program that is right for every student. Adjusting to different personalities and specific academic needs, we find what works best.

We still have spaces for our online 2024 Spring Session Saturdays March - June 2024!!!

Grace was amazing with my son and helped him catch up in math. We tried a private tutor but he preferred the small group and learned from other students questions as well. Overall great experience - thank you Scholar City!
